The church is part of God's eternal purpose to display His wisdom to the authorities of the heavenly places despite the ridicule of the world. While humans are amazed by angels, angels are actually more amazed by redeemed humans. "We are the joy of God on display." Think about the eternal day. Christ will be the light. From there when I look back, what did I live for? Our purposes lived out in the church today have eternal impact.
